Jim has lived in Alaska since 1952 and on the Kenai Peninsula since 1975. He is retired after a career in telecommunications spanning over forty years. Jim and his wife Ellen have four children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The only kids remaining at home are dogs Sophie and Sadie. Jim is active in the Peninsula Dog Obedience Group, AARP Driver Safety Program, Kenai Peninsula Prostate Cancer Awareness Group, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elk’s and Central Peninsula Hospital Auxiliary.
